Amazon does not provide it in my region, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. I am very impressed with this product and would like to own it. All Klim products, a year after their release, are available in my region, which makes me disappointed 💔

Hey KLIM, I've been a fan of oyu guys for years since I discovered the KLIM Nova. I was pretty bummed when my last one had a problem and I was told that the Nova has been discontinued :(. So, I backed this one on Kickstarter. I normally don't back many things on Kickstarter (so far it's only been three projects over like 5 years lol) but I trust you guys and knew you would deliver. I actually didn't start using the Turbo Frost until today (I opened it and played with it a little when I got it but didn't really need to use it until today) and I have some thoughts that I wanted to share with you guys and maybe they will help the KLIM team and any people that are on the fence about buying this one. As usual with all KLIM products it came in super stylish packaging and has that whole "Premium" feel to it. It seems really well made and I like the change that was made to the bar in the back that adjusts the height (as compared to the Nova). The fan gets really cold and that is great. However, the fact that (and maybe I'm misunderstanding this?) you can only have two fans on at a time if using the USB C port to power it and not all four unless you use the AC power cord is disappointing. The whole reason why I have a laptop is because I don't want to have to be stuck plugging something in, yu know? The other thing that immediately comes to mind is the foam piece. I understand the reasoning behind it but I would have liked it more if it was made out of a different type of foam that could be cleaned some how. Because I have a feeling this one will collect a lot of dust around the edges. It also doesn't line up perfectly with the magnets but I'm nitpicky about stuff like that. It also feels kind of weird when I'm typing because it feels like I've got my laptop on something spongey (which I do lol.) I love that it has the extra USB ports and can act as a hub because it seems like most laptops these days have precious few ports and you have to get a dock or hub whether you want to or not. At least this way it's not something that is hanging from my laptop or taking up extra space. As for the lights, honestly I could do without them and never turn them on lol. I also don't fully understand how to control them to do each thing the booklet says the lights can do. I also like that the control for the fans and lights are on the front. (The Nova had one button on the back and was kind of annoying to reach around to try and find.) And one last thing, I Know that a lot of people complained about the little nubs that prevented the laptop from sliding off the Nova when it was at an elevated angle, but I liked them and got used to them being there. With this one I really don't like these new adjustable tabs for a few reasons. For starters, there isn't any real way of making sure they're both lined up to the same height. They also don't necessarily stay where I put them. I do think it would be better if they were just a straight piece instead of the upside down L shape. With the upside L that little lip goes onto my laptop and keeps the laptop in place but I tried to close the laptop and the lip ended up scratching the edge of the skin I have on the cover of my laptop which really annoyed me. I'm now really concerned that if I'm not careful it may scratch my laptop or cause some other kind of damage. And, as I had mentioned with the foam and how it's like my laptop is on something spongey, because of the sponginess of the foam and how my laptop goes up and down a little when I'm typing and not typing, there isn't really a good height to keep the tabs. If I have them too high they stick out when I'm typing which is a pain. If I have them too low they're snug up against my laptop and I'm concerned about causing damage to my laptop when I close it. It's annoying to have to adjust the whole laptop every time I want to close the lid. Like I said, if it was just a straight piece I think that would be a lot better. Just put some padding on both sides and cover the top to make it soft on all the edges and therefore not hurt when a wrist is on it.

I have my two new keyboards and wanted to ask if there is an on-off for the lights and brightness setting?

I want to buy it but I haven't seen a good review yet. Tech Tyrial didn't make an extensive video and tested it with a laptop that has a low TDP, so naturally their own laptop can cool itself. It would be good to test it on one with a higher TDP, like a 3070ti 150W with a 45W+ CPU, and see if it manages to avoid temperatures over 80 degrees with a constant load of 150W on the GPU and 30W or more on the CPU. I'm very interested in the product; I have the iets gt 600 and it reduces temperatures well, but the noise is annoying and it has startup problems (the fan doesn't turn on when I want, I manage to turn it on somehow). I wonder if this one is better in that regard. It would be great to see a table showing how much noise it produces in each ventilation mode with dB metrics. If I compare 2800 RPM of Illano vs. 4x 4000 RPM, do they both achieve the same cooling? I have many doubts; I hope this base will be better, but I'll wait to see more reviews before buying it, and if it truly manages to cool effectively, I'll gladly pay that price.

klim keyboard not working i lost dongle

Hello, computers are quite expensive in my region, so I ask you to answer honestly, is there any damage to the laptop of this cooler? Will the air flow or vacuum part cause any damage to the laptop? Any part of it will not damage the 15.6" laptop, right?

This is a very interesting product, but one thing is currently holding me back from supporting it which is possible compatibility issues with certain laptop models such as some of the Asus RoG Zephyrus models which prop themselves up with the hinge. Have you tested with any of these models to see if that hinders the performance of the turbofrost?

you don't need this if you keep your laptop clean, the dust in your laptop wont go anywhere and this is more of a temporary relief than anything. Dust clogs up your laptop's ventilation system, hindering airflow and causing heat to get trapped inside. No matter how fancy your cooler is, if your laptop's internals are caked with dust, it's still going to struggle with heat management. open up your laptop (if you're comfortable doing so), and gently clean out those vents and fans. Trust me, your laptop will thank you. The people who design gaming laptop (one that run hotter) optimized their cooling system without the need of a external cooler. If your laptop is hot, again just clean it normally.
